What we do for members
Using the latest technology the IAATC keeps track of every courier company in the world that requires couriers and regularly distributes this information to members. Information on last-minute flights in the UK is sent by e-mail to members, this is also posted daily on our computer in the USA. Members can access the computer by fax or computer 24 hours a day.

The aircourier
Couriers need to be fit, reliable, independent individuals over 18 years of age of any nationality.

How does it work ?
Many tons of cargo travel with couriers every week, unlike regular cargo it clear customs on arrival. This results in the cargo arriving at its destination sooner which is essential for time sensitive material.

Background of the IAATC
The International Association of Air Travel Couriers has its headquarters at Scottsbluff Nebraska and a European office in the UK, it was founded in 1989 in the USA. The UK office has been operational since 1997. We welcome members from all over the world.

This picture of me was taken at Narita airport Tokyo on one of my regular courier trips to Japan.
In November I returned from my 16th assignment to Tokyo.
The picture shows me carrying a package of courier documents.
On these pages I explain how you can also travel cheaply as a courier.

 

Couriers do not have contact with the cargo, they are only responsible for carrying the documents.
Consignments can be anything from engineering machinery to computer components to important documents.
